Project Row Houses had another strong week and weekend. Great weather I must add. This particular round (Round 44) was guest curated by independent curator and cultural producer Raquel De Anda. This round asks that you invest some time, imagination, and acknowledgement of the world that is going on around you “today” politically, socially, and environmentally. Poet, author, critical theorist Fred Moten came to town and dropped some interesting jewels with a poetry reading at the El Dorado Ballroom and the University of Houston (Department of English). It was a great read and great to meet him. He is so approachable and friendly. I wish all scholars and intellectual academics were this way but alas..”It” was all a dream I used to read Art Forum magazine.” (Riff off of Biggie Smalls) If you don’t know now you know babyyy babyyy.
